im a summer camp counselor/camp photographer and i have an obsession with the song blue moon.

Hi, I love your artwork for "wing tattoo design ii" and would like to convert it into a custom tattoo for the Sims 3. The tattoo would go onto a website where people could download it for free and put it in their game (the final would be somewhat low res though). I would link back to you, of course. I'd prefer if you used/asked ~muju considering I was inspired by that design. Otherwise, I dont mind. Just keep in mind, that although I did not trace it, I did recieve the inspiration from someone else. Thank you for the interest though!

Thanks for your quick response. I asked muju a couple days ago as well, but I haven't heard a response from her yet. I'll keep waiting a couple more days, I think, and if I don't hear anything or if she says "no," would it still be okay to use your design? I could link back to both you and her if it makes your more comfortable.

sweet lord. Okay, if this shows up multiple times in multiple locations, I blame the internet. In response to your Poll:

I voted for the antlers because I know what they symbolize. If the magpies mean more, then I think you should get them instead.

The feather sounds lovely, but its seems you're still unsure as to what purpose it serves. And again, I believe you should be fully established in some field or workplace or what have you before getting it. Unless of course you fancy long sleeve shirts.

bahahaha it showed up in about 4 places. 3 on the poll and once here. it made me chuckle. no worries. eventually i will post the design i have for the SHIT its MAGPIES, not mockingbirds. *facepalm* either way the meaning is the same. The design looks like two birds fighting, or doing a mating dance, and the design has them connected at the wingtips and the two birds are looking at eachother. If you could see the design you'd understand when I say that it can represent a continuity and cyclical way of life, also of relationships. In China the magpie is the "Bird of Joy" and symbolizes good fortune. Also, under one of the dynasties, a quiet magpie stood for imperial rule (fun fact, a peacock feather/plume in Chinese art represents official rank)...
ANYWHO. I could go on for hours about the meaning of the magpie tattoo idea.
Maybe I'll take the time and write a journal....
